Big Brother to the AN/PVS-4, the AN/TVS-5 was designed for large caliber, long range crew served weapons like the M85, M2 and M60. Designed with many components of the PVS-4, the TVS-5 is just as accurate, rugged and dependable as the PVS-4. Accurate aiming is facilitated by an illuminated reticle system, which is fully adjustable for windage and elevation. A brightness control adjusts the reticle intensity for accurate aiming in any light condition. Reticles can be easily changed by the end user to adjust for different weapon calibers. The TVS-5 also has gain control, allowing the user to adjust the image brightness to match conditions. All Night Vision Depot TVS-5's feature the new style AA battery housing which eliminates the the unreliable AA battery adapters and old style BA5567 batteries
